Decluttr scans your open Live Set and clears out the leftovers that pile up while you work: empty tracks, muted tracks, dead clips, and disabled devices. You stay in control. Decluttr shows you what it found, you tick what to remove, and nothing is deleted until you confirm.

What it clears

• Empty MIDI and audio tracks
• Muted tracks and muted clips
• Empty MIDI clips and leftover take-lane recordings
• Disabled devices
• Whole groups, collapsed to a single delete when every track inside is empty

How it works

1. Right-click any track and choose "Decluttr: clean up project…"
2. Review the scan. Each category shows a count and the items it found.
3. Tick the categories you want to clear, then confirm.
4. Decluttr removes them and reports back exactly what it deleted.

Empty audio tracks and busses are protected by default. Turn them on when you want a deeper clean.

Install

1. Unlock Decluttr above, then download the .ablx file from "Your content".
2. In Ableton Live, open Preferences and go to Extensions.
3. Add the .ablx file and enable it.
4. Right-click any track to run Decluttr.

Good to know

• Decluttr edits the Set only. It never alters your audio files.
• Anything it removes can be undone from Live's edit history.
• Requires an Ableton Live 12 beta with Extensions enabled. Extensions is currently a Live beta feature.
